WASTE NO SPACE

You got a simple task, fellow Waste Management Expert: Don't get us all drowned in nuclear waste! Produce power, reach goals, explore space and remember to shoot that waste up into orbit.

HOW TO PLAY:

Build Reactors to generate power.

Click/Touch and Drag to shoot Waste into Space. Think of a slingshot.

See the timer at the top left? That's a ticker for each round. Every round you get new Power but also new Waste. Waste is bad, and you can only store a limited amount of it. If you don't send enough waste into space, you lose.

The Power you did not use each round is added to your Overhead (Score).

You can:

- Build generators to produce more power per round.

- Build waste storage to extend your planet's capacities.

- Build a satellite and shoot it into space to see more space and unlock new technology!

- Use unlockable Technology to help you not die.

- Don't do anything and just meditate to the mesmerizing soundtrack. (Including square-breathing.)

Everything you do costs power.

Beware: WASTE is fragile and might explode when handled too rough.
If you don't shoot it out far enough, it will crash back onto the planet.

Thank you for playing the game! I hope you enjoy it and don't drown in the nuclear waste too often <3

This game was initially designed for the Kenney Jam 2025 and has since evolved.
Big thanks go out to Kenney for providing those cute assets for free! They helped me a lot in learning game design by prototyping
Also, much of my gratitude goes towards the amazing team of Godot and the community around it <3

I’ve disabled the tutorial for now. Because of some of the changes the tutorial no longer applies for some stuff. Is it still easy to understand what to do?
